SALON POLICIES

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW

Your appointments are very valuable to us. They are reserved especially just for you. Please provide us at least 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment. Failure to do so, a late fee will be applied at your next appointment. If the same client has “No-shows” more than two occasions, we won’t rebook your future appointment.


Group of 3 with double services or more is required to make a $75 deposit at time of booking in order to hold the reservation. 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a group of three or more services. This allows the salon enough time to fill the appointments. Late cancellation will be charged 100% of your deposit. “No-shows” will be charged 100% of your deposit. More than two “No-shows” from the same party will result in not be able to book with us in the future.

LATE ARRIVAL

All salon services have been designed to allow appropriate time for full enjoyment of each service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be guaranteed extension of scheduled services. Services will be rendered only for the remainder of scheduled appointment and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.

DEPOSIT

When you book a group of 3 or more with double services per client, we require a $75 deposit at the time of booking to reserve your reservation. The deposit is non-refundable, and will be applied towards your service. If you Late Cancel or No Show, your deposit will be forfeited. If we are unable to provide your service due to non-compliance of our appointment policies, it will also result in a forfeiture of your deposit. A contract will be sent to you via email or in-person upon request of booking your party (4& over).

QUIET, PLEASE

Please turn your cellphone on silent mode upon check in at our salon. We are haven for all those coming here to relax and enjoy a tranquil and stress-reducing experience.

CHILDREN

We love children at MAK Nail Bar & Organic Spa. However, due to sharp tools, and solvents being used at our salon, it is parents’ responsibilities to supervise their children at all time when getting services done. Our staffs are not equipped to provide childcare.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

We accept Cash, MAK Nail Bar & Organic Spa gift card, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit cards. Checks are not accepted.

REFUND

We do not offer refund on services or products already being rendered. To ensure your satisfaction, please check and inform your technicians or a manager if you are not pleased with your services while you are still at the salon.

GIFT CARD

You must present your MAK Gift Card or Certificate only to pay for salon services or products, excluding gratuity. The value of the card or certificate will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. The card or certificate cannot be redeemed for cash or credit towards MAK accounts. The gift card or certificate is only valid for one year after the date of purchase if it stays inactive. Purchase or use of a MAK gift card or certificate constitutes acceptance of these terms & conditions. MAK Gift Cards or Certificates are non-refundable. MAK Gift Cards or Certificates are available for in-store product purchase only.

REDO POLICY

This policy is only applied on gel manicure services.

We take pride in, stand by and guarantee our work at MAK Nail Bar & Organic Spa.  If you are unsatisfied we would like you to consult and communicate with your service provider and together come up with a solution.  Our management team is also happy to help provide other alternatives. Client redo’s will only be honored if MAK is contacted within 7 days of the original service.

JEWELRY/VALUABLES

If possible, please leave your jewelry and valuables at home as you will not need for your visit. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

SERVICES AND PRICES

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue or change services and prices without notice to ensure the maximum standards of set and quality are being met. Discount can't be combined.

PRIVACY

Your privacy is very important to us. We collect your personal information such as your name, and telephone number in order to create an easy client booking database and to keep you informed about all the fun stuff were up to. We know how annoying it is to get junk mail so will never disclose your personal information to any third party.

FOR YOUR SAFETY

Clients with medical conditions are advised to consult their doctors prior to booking any services. Kindly inform your technician or front desk manager any existing medical conditions prior to receiving your services. MAK reserves the right to discontinue a service for any reason to ensure the safety of all parties.

MAK ETIQUETTE

Inappropriate and rude behavior does not belong at MAK Nail Bar & Organic Spa. Our team at MAK are dedicated, professional technicians who reserve the right to terminate services if clients are excessively intoxicated or make inappropriate comments, suggestions or advances to any member of our team.
