MAK is not your conventional nail salon. It is the first organic nail bar in Berks county. This upscale nail bar that offers natural, non-toxic, organic products and services without hefty price tags. MAK owner, Angel Nguyen, has been in this nail industry for 18 years. She was so fed up with all chemicals that were used at typical salons. Many places she worked at had lack of ventilation and the chemical smell was unbearable. The idea of opening a greener salon was born.  The catalyst for Angel's commitment to open an organic nail salon was the birth of her son, Mason. Angel wants to create a healthier working environment for customers as well for her and her nail techs.  In addition, MAK isn't just a place for customers to come and unwind but also a place to hang out and feel glamorous.  MAK's  well trained, talented and experienced nail techs will make the sure customer always have positive and quality services.  At MAK, we strive to be natural and organic whenever possible. The products we use are non-toxic and paraben-free. Our bath salts, sugar scrubs, and lotions are ha and preservative-free. All of our tools are sanitized and disinfected. Our pedicure stations are installed with pipeless technology to assure that fresh, clean water is used each time. At MAK, we love the air we breath. Come and breath our unspoiled air, free of fume but scented with essential oil and Shea butter cream. Scan the spectrum of safe, we only use organic and vegan nail product brands like Zoya, OPI and ESSIE that are complete free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP and camphor.
